Moulton Woman Dies After Striking A Cow With Her Vehicle

MOULTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a statement regarding a traffic accident that occurred on Monday, July 10:

“A single-vehicle crash at 10:35 p.m. Monday, July 10, has claimed the life of a Moulton woman. 

Kimberly Adams Hood, 51, was killed when the BMW 2.5i she was driving struck a cow and overturned.

Hood, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the Lawrence County Medical Center.

The crash occurred on Alabama 24, near the 47 mile marker, eight miles west of Moulton.

 Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
