Hazel Little Lowery, 92, passed away July 9, 2017. She was born on Nov. 29, 1924, in Lawrence County to Rose Annie Latham Little and William Martin Little.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Reverend Dallas Culver Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Lowery is preceded in death by her brothers, Clifton Little, Carl Little, Cecil Little, Wallace Little; and sisters, Doris Little Waldrop and Marie Little Royer. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 72 years, Lavern Lowery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lowery and her husband were faithful members of Austinville United Methodist Church.
The family will gratefully accept donations to Austinville United Methodist Church, 908 Lamar St. S.W., Decatur, AL 35601 or flowers.
