Funeral service for Lela Margie Lee, 84, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home chapel with interment in Cullman City Cemetery, Elder David Guttery officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home, 461 U.S. Hwy. 278 E, Cullman, AL 35055 is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Lee passed away July 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 5, 1932 to Nancy Lela Crider. Margie was a native of Cullman County and long time dedicated member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother and caregiver to their handicapped son for 35 years. She was loved by so many.
She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Paul Robert Lee; sisters, Reecie Harbison, Orphia Schlosser, Ruth Burleson.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James Milton Lee; daughter, Nancy Lee (Dewayne Brown); brother Jack Hudson; a host of nieces, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church at Providence, 190 Co. Rd. 1428, Vinemont, Alabama, 35179
Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
