FLORENCE-Florence Police issue statement on the arrest of two suspect caught in the act of committing a home burglary on Thursday, June 29:
“Catherine Hill, 23, of Florence and Stephanie White, 49 , of Florence were arrested yesterday following a reported burglary in progress in the 2800 block of Cole Ave.
Officers Jordan Risener, Ryan Kelly, and Guy Lambert responded and located both subjects in the residence. An investigation revealed that neither subject lived at the home and were actively attempting to remove items from within the home at the time of their arrest.

Hill was charged with Burglary 3rd and Theft 4th and remains in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on bond totaling $2,500.
White was found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia at the time of her arrests and was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Burglary 3rd, and Theft 4th. White was released from custody after posting bond in the amount of $5,000.”
