Mary Pauline Webb – Obituary

Mary Pauline Webb, 87, of Decatur, passed away on June 24, 2017, at her home. She loved the Lord and witnessed to all of her caregivers. She also liked to sew and was known for making satin pillow cases and house coats that she gave away as gifts. She would teach the art of sewing to anyone who wanted to learn. She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Chattanooga and was instrumental in starting the Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene.

She is predeceased by her husband, Bill Webb; and parents, Francis and Cordia Ann Smith.

She is survived by her children, William Edward Webb Jr. and wife, Freda, of Townsend, Tennessee; Sophia Jo Ann Shelton and husband, Duane, of Decatur; four grandchildren, Kevin Webb and wife, Sarah, Heather Webb, Bradley Shelton and wife, Whitney, and Angela Shelton; and five great-grandchildren, Caedmon Webb, Zeke Webb, Nathan Webb, Will Webb and Tallulah Shelton.

Vistation will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with a graveside to follow at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Jerry Hanson officiating.
