James Marvin Bailey, Jr., 69, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, at his home. He was born July 23, 1947, in Greenwood, MS, to James Marvin and Otis Mae Jones Bailey. He worked as an electrician for Kelly Electric and was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and drawing.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Bailey; eight sons, James Perry Bailey of Carrollton, Ricky Lynn Bailey of Charleston, James “Jamie” Marvin Bailey III of the Evergreen community, Hunter Shane Bailey, Tommy James Bailey, and Gabe Shance Bailey, all of Fulton, Mack Miller of Ocala, FL, and Paul Miller of Mooreville; five daughters, Betty Diane Mueller of Itta Bena, Dixie Renae Bailey of Greenwood, Anita Clayton of Tupelo, Sherry Williams of Mooreville, and Brandi Jo Bailey of Fulton; two sisters, Patricia Daves of Winona and Lisa Sanders of Foley, AL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Wayne Bailey, and his parents.

Private memorial services will be conducted at the family home.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
