FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department along with Fire and Rescue are on the scene of a bizarre accident at Seminary and Irvine Streets in Florence.
According to police a driver of a pickup truck pulling a utility trailer was flagged down because of something being dragged under the trailer.
The driver checked under the trailer finding the body of a dead man.
According to authorities from Colbert County the driver of the truck has been identified as the father of Colbert County Coroner Carlton Utley who lost his life in this terrible accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
