Joan Trice Hendley, age 85, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, June 19, at her residence.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. a Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Anthony Muston officiating.
Joan was born April 18, 1932 in Giles County, the daughter of the late John Trice and Viola Greene Trice. She was the wife of the late Joe W. Hendley who preceded her in death in 2009. Joan was a homemaker and a member of the Knob Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters Patty (Wayne) Grantham of Athens, AL, Libby (David) Clanton and Terri (Mark) Musel, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Emma Grantham, Patrick Grantham, Mathew Clanton, Elizabeth Wimmer and Hunter Clanton along with 3 great-grandchildren.
