Joe Floyd Nelson, age 77, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Wayne County, TN, retired truck driver from Baggett Oil Company, a member of Ramah Baptist Church and Tennessee Valley Jamboree.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Evans and Lorene Beatrice Wayland Nelson.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2017, with Morland Ezell and David Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society.
