Dr. Randy Ray Simpson passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 18, 2017. A local dentist in Guntersville, AL, he was born in California while his father was surviving in the military. Born April 11, 2017 to Jack Randolph Simpson and Linda Crowell Simpson. Dr. Simpson was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Wayne Simpson and his grandparents, Carl and Effie Simpson and also Edgar T. “Jr” and Eileen Crowell. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Caldwell Simpson, son Randall Grant Simpson, Jacob Aeschliman (fiancé Michaela McNeese and Noah), daughter Sandy Catherine Simpson (Alex Prickett) his parents, Jack and Linda Simpson, brother Thomas Carl Simpson and his wife, Michelle, sister Barbara Simpson Richey and her husband Steve, nephew Josh Richey. The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, June 21st beginning at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carr funeral home. A funeral service will Wednesday, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Carr Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery in Guntersville.
