David Linton, 74, of Iuka, MS, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at his residence. David was a graduate of Burnsville Highschool. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything to do with being outdoors and living the country life. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Atlanta Braves and the Memphis Tigers play ball. A private memorial service has been scheduled for family only. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by one son, Jeff Linton and his girlfriend, Linda Hatchcock, and her son, Colton Ledbetter; his twin brother, Daniel Linton; his sister, CoCo Linton; his extended family, Marietta Barnes, Shirley Hubbard, Gladys Helton, Kendrick Linton, Brian Woodruff, Brett Woodruff, Susan Woodruff, Danny Linton, Jr., Glenda Duranceau, Adam Harris, David Allen Yarbrough and his wife, Carol, Joe Woodruff and his wife, Shirley, Scott Woodruff, Greg Woodruff, and Keith Woodruff; along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Gladys Linton. Memorials can be made to The American Heart Association or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
