Marian Margaret Kiyak 89 of Athens passed away Thursday, June 9, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Kiyak was born December 9, 1927 in New York to John Jacob Sell and Margaret Barbara Merklein Sell.
Services will be Tuesday, 10:00 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Charley Alookaran officiating. Burial will be in Alabama National Cemetery Montevallo, AL.
Preceded in death by her husband, George Gregory Kiyak; brother, Robert Sell.
Survived by three sons, Gregory Kiyak and wife, Pamela of Athens, Mark Kiyak and wife, Stephanie of Dunkirk, NY and George Christopher Kiyak of Crownsville, MD; six grandchildren, Melody Locklair and husband, Richard of Athens, Zachary Kiyak of Huntsville, AL, David Kiyak of Orlando, FL, Joel Kiyak of Athens, John Kiyak and William Kiyak both of Birmingham, AL; three great-grandchildren, Kadence Locklair, Aria Locklair and Jacob Locklair.
Pallbearers will be David, Joel, Mark, Chris, Richard and Guy Fry.
