Mary Rebman Kelly – Obituary

Mary Rebman Kelly, age 80 of Cherokee passed away May 28, 2017. She was born in Barton, Alabama and attended Margerum Community Church.

Mrs. Kelly’s visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 12 pm until 2 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm with Bro. Rod Stansky officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Cemetery.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kelly; parents, Bernard Rebman, Sr. and Maude Brown Rebman; daughter, Suzanne Boroff; brother, Bernard Rebman, Jr.; and sisters, Juanita Estes, Imogene Nesbitt Kennedy, Peggy Perez, Ruby Thompson, and Betty Thompson.

She is survived by sons, John Cox (Ann), Mark Kelly (Cheryl), and daughter, Amy Hill (Greg); grandchildren, Sam Archer, Jr., Jared Cox, Nathan Cox (Caitlin), John Hill, Emily Boroff, and Karol Jo Lanier; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank the staff of Helen Keller Hospital and Cypress Cove Rehabilitation Facility; sister-in-law, Vera Rebman; nieces, Delores Enlow, Teresa Green, Rhonda Rebman-Lopez, and Doris Rickard for their compassion and loving care extended to Mrs. Kelly during her final days.
