Easter Mae Blackwell, age 88 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy, she will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Smith Chapel Cemetery. John Billy Butler and Vernal Sides will officiate.
Miss Blackwell was preceded in death by her Parents-Zack and Mattie Blackwell; Brothers-A.J. Blackwell, Allsie (Al) Blackwell and Mack Blackwell; Nephews-Paul and Steve Norris.
She is survived by her Nephews-Gary Norris and Tim Blackwell; Sister-Margaret June Blackwell; Nieces-Diana Legg (Donald), Pam Wright (Neil), Tammy Key, Cynthia Bryan, Tracie Douglass and Tamara Perry.
