Mr. Johnny L. Brewster, age 48, husband of Margie Brewster, and a resident of Mooresville Pike in Columbia, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Andre Washington officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on December 3, 1968 in Meridian, Mississippi, Johnny was the son of John L. Brewster and the late Lucy Pearl Gaines Willingham. He worked as an assembly technician for General Motors and enjoyed riding motorcycles and having bar-be-ques. He especially loved his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Margie Johnson Brewster of Columbia; father: John L. Brewster; son: Sir Johnathon Lamar Brewster (Bre’Neshia Crawford) of Columbia; daughters: Lauren Nicole “Slick Nick” Foster (Allen Gentry) of Cincinnati, OH, Ebony Sade’ Brewster of Columbia, Ceara Letrice Early of Cincinnati, OH; sister: Lisa Brewster of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren: Ariona Me’Shelle Brewster, Sir Johnathon Lamar Brewster II; niece: Tabitha Brewster of Cincinnati OH, and nephew: Courtney Brewster of Cincinnati OH; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Sir Johnathon Lamar Brewster, David Gill, Trent Young, Alexander Dean, Courtney Brewster, and Jerell Brewster. Flowers girls will be: Lauren Nicole Foster and Bre’Neshia Crawford.
