Betty Joanie Hyde, age 65 passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center-South in Boaz. Joanie was born in Marshall County, January 21, 1952 to the late Ella Mae Smallwood Henderson and the late Cecil Henderson. She was trained as a Hazardous Material Handler. She was proceeded in death by her son, Robert Joseph Hyde, her parents, Cecil and Ella Mae Henderson, three sisters, Carolyn Lang, Margie Burgett and Linda Patterson, two brothers, RJ Henderson and Michael Henderson. Joanie is survived by her beloved husband, James E. Hyde, Sr, two sons, Bryan Keith Hyde, James E. Hyde, Jr. two sisters, Kathy Henderson, Peggy Jarrell; also two grandchildren, Harley James Hyde, Olivia Rachel Hyde and one great grandchild, Chloe Spargel. The family will receive friends Thursday, 25th beginning at 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Chapel Service at Carr Funeral Home Friday, 26th at 2:00 PM. Burial in Gilliam Springs Cemetery in Arab.
