Charles James Wilder (Wiley) – Obituary

Charles James Wilder (Wiley), 87, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at his home in Fulton.  Charles was born February 18, 1930, to Willie Wiley and Gertrude Harris in Thomas Town, Louisiana.  Charles was a retired truck driver from Fondessy Enterprises of Toledo, Ohio.  Throughout his life, Charles wore many hats and was a jack of many trades.  He loved his family deeply with a passion for the children.  Charles enjoyed planting and farming throughout the year.  He was a strong, active man.

Charles is survived by his daughters Felicia, Dawn, and Stacy; sons Charles Jr., (Gary) Lamont, and Chris; over 30 grandchildren; over a dozen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Sim (Jame) Wiley; and a daughter, Linda Wiley.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at 210 Carroll Road, Fulton, MS, with Pastor Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at Mountainside Cemetery.  The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 18, in the Country Manor Estates dining hall.

McNeece-Morris Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
