Glendyl “Boots” Bolton – Obituary

Mrs. Glendyl “Boots” Bolton, 88, passed to her eternal home on May 18, 2017. She resided at the Carrington House Assisted Living for the past several years. Mrs. Bolton retired from Tishomingo County Courthouse where she worked for 35 ½ years from 1962-1998. Boots loved spending time in the Smoky Mountains, traveling, looking at the leaves in the fall of the year, and shopping. A time of visitation and reflection of her life will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS. Her funeral will be at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Services will be officiated by Bro. Neil Edmondson. Graveside services will be private. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her “adopted” family, Jim and Yvonne Russell of Iuka; her nephew, Lyman Hill, Jr. and his wife Mary Kay, and their children, Trey and Whitley of Holly Pond, AL; her nephew, Lamar Bolton and his wife Sandra of Camden, TN; her great niece, Kim Carpenter and her husband Shane and their son, Guy of Corinth, MS; and her sister in law, Lois Bolton of Tishomingo. Preceding her in death was her husband, Roy Bolton; her parents, Lee and Ethel Hill; and her brother, Lyman Hill and his wife Ava.
