Wanda Uhlman, age 70, of Leighton, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mark Mayfield will officiate. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Uhlman was a Shoals area native and a retired school teacher. She was a member of Leighton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Willerdean Osborn.
Survivors include daughter, Kelly Johnson (Michael); sons, Eric Uhlman (Anna), Van Uhlman (Renee), and Cory Uhlman (Wendy); and eleven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Uhlman, Bo Uhlman, Grant Uhlman, Lynn Uhlman, Kenny Elkins, Seth Johnson, Brad Osborn, and Kevin Uhlman.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Vanderbilt Hospital ICU and Round Wing of the seventh floor.
