Mrs. Kathryn D. Freeman, 88, of Boaz, Alabama died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne White and Bro. Mike Springfield officiating. Interment is to follow in Bethsaida Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Alabama on March 28, 1929 to Omar & Olivia Bowen Edmondson. She was a retired seamstress with the H.D. Lee Company.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her Daughters & Son-in-Law: Diane & Wayne Ashley of Boaz, Sherry Wilburn of Grove Oak and Kathy Freeman of Boaz, Grandchildren: Brian White, Danielle Thrasher, Brad Ashley and Josh Wilburn, 6 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter, Brother & Sisters-in-Law: Ben Edmondson of Boaz, Martha & Joe Maples of Boaz and Margaret Edmondson. She was preceded in death by Husband: George Freeman and Brothers: Tommy Edmondson, Cecil Edmondson, Willard Edmondson and Durwood Edmondson.
Pallbearers will be Brad Ashley, Josh Wilburn, Ricky Edmondson, Randy Edmondson, Toby Edmondson, Greg Maples, Michael Clay and Tim Frasier.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers donation to Bethsaida Baptist Church or Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
