Mrs. Hazel Kathleen Stotts, 88, of the Cumberland Heights Community passed away Friday May 12, 2017 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer. She was born in Coalmont on August 10, 1928 to Calvin Bailey Caldwell and Ida Mae Nunley Caldwell who preceded her in death along with her husband, Sam Leroy Stotts; son, Chris Stotts; brothers, Chester, Roy, Howard,  Robert “Poss” and Herbert E. “Herbie” Caldwell; sisters, Beatrice Pickett, Laura Ruehling and Edna Taylor; infant sister, Harriett Melissa Caldwell.

She is survied by her grandson, Ian Von Stotts and several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Tom “J.L.” Anderson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister John Yeoman and Chaplain Richard Barger officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
