Lizzie Gurtrue Miller – Obituary

Lizzie Gurtrue Miller, age 80, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Friday, May 12, 2017. She was retired admissions clerk for Burdick West Hospital, a volunteer for Project Linus, making quilts for children in need and a member of Needmore Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dennis McCrary, Steve Tidwell and Joseph Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Littleville Cemetery.

Ms. Miller is survived by her daughter, Janice Louise Noblett; daughter in law, Frances Hamby; sisters, Susie Reynolds and Joyce Robbins; grandchildren, Jarrett Wayne Noblett and Emily Michelle Miller Green; and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Kate Cagle; son, James Michael “Mike” Miller; brothers, Wallace Cagle and J.C. Cagle; and half sister, Lois Johnson.
