Floyd David “Igor” Wesson, 65, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017. Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Tim Jefferys and Scot Farris will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Igor was a truck driver for Blue Star Concrete for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Iva Wesson; birth father, Floyd McWilliams; birth mother, Geraldine Wesson; grandchildren, Heavenly and McKinley.
Survivors are wife of 15 wonderful years, Sandra Wesson; sons, Michael Wesson (Missy), Kenny Ricketts, Stacy Wesson, and David Austin Wesson; daughters, Gidgett Wesson, Amanda Jean Ricketts, and Cre Wesson; brother, Tim Jefferys (Vicky); uncles, Lee Jones (Slyvia), Dwight Jones (Debra), Jerry Jones; Aunts, Linda Jo Campbell (Bobby) and Sonja Jones; grandchildren, David Lee, Tessa, Alyssa, Harley, Evan, Mercedes “Sadie”, and Gage; special pets, Prissy, Buddy, Cloe, Boogie, and Maxie; host of loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be the Military Honor Guard.
