Donna Kaye King – Obituary

Donna Kaye King, age 51, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Donna was born on June 23, 1965 in Maury County, Tennessee to Seth Eugene Isabell, Sr. and Carolyn West Isabell. She married Bryan King on July 1, 1983 and their thirty-three year marriage was full of love, life and family. She was a woman who totally lived for her family with her Pride and Joy being Seth English, Ryan and Kendra. Anyone who knew Donna, knew that she was the life of the party. She was well known in the community having been the previous owner of Carolyn’s Transportation, The Rebel Truck Stop and Southern Drive-In Restaurant.

Donna is survived by her loving husband: Bryan King of Mt. Pleasant; son: Seth English King of Mt. Pleasant; sister: Janet (Kenny) Floyd of Mt. Pleasant; nephew: Ryan (Brittany) Floyd of Columbia; niece: Kendra (Drew) Nowlin of Columbia; great-nephew: Tyler Ryan Floyd; parents-in-law: Charles and Mary Ann King of Mt. Pleasant; brother-in-law: Billy King of Mt. Pleasant; and aunts: Linda Young and Rose Bondurant both of Mt. Pleasant, and Wanda Helmick of Lawrenceburg. She was preceded in death by her parents: Seth and Carolyn Isabell, Sr.; and brother: Seth “Bubba” Isabell, Jr.

Funeral services for Donna will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant and will be officiated by Rev. Donald Wahlman. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, May 11 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

Bryan King, Seth English King, Ryan Floyd, Kenny Floyd, Drew Nowlin, Jack West and Terry Buie will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to give special thanks to Donna’s caretaker, Rebecca Bearden.

The family requests that memorials be made to a benefit account that has been set up for Seth English King at Community First Bank and Trust.
