John Russell Behel, age 58, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
He was employed with Keith Bullington Lumber Yard.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Homer and Mattie Behel; brothers, Homer Newell Behel Jr. and Ralph Owen Behel; and sister, Linda Darlene Behel.
Survivors are his wife, Beth Behel; stepfather, LeRoy Coggins; children, John Behel (Jennifer), Jimmy Behel (Tisha), Julie Morgan (James), Mackenzie Entrekin (John), Scott Pounders (Mandy), Randy Pounders , and Nickolas Pounders; borthers, Rufus James Behel and Tommy Eugene Behel; sister, Carolyn Sue Behel; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
