Ronald Walter Waskerwitz, 80 of Cherokee Ridge, Union Grove, died Saturday May 6, 2017 at The Windsor House in Huntsville.
Mr. Waskerwitz was born December 11, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to Walter Waskerwitz and Jennie Harrison Waskerwitz. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked in sales for Michigan Bell/Ameritech until his retirement. He attended Flint Technical High School and The University of Michigan. Mr. Waskerwitz was the owner of Access #1 Teleconnect and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He moved to Guntersville from Michigan and then to Cherokee Ridge in 1997.
Mr. Waskerwitz was a member of the Saint Michael Orthodox Church in Huntsville.
He is survived by his son: Timothy R. Waskerwitz; a sister and brother in law: Peggy and Robert Russell and Special Friend: Sally McDougal.
Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Saint Michael Orthodox Church located at 4319 Spartacus Dr. S.W. Huntsville, with Father: Gregory Schultz, officiating and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc Michigan.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
