John Emil Nogues – Obituary

John Emil Nogues passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born August 22, 1929 in Mackay, Idaho where he grew up and attended school.  He served in the U.S. Army 1951-1953 and worked for the Department of Army MICOM Directorate from which he retired in 1982.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Tribble Nogues; daughters Gwendolyn Nogues Kingery (Wayne) and Gisele Nogues Wilson (Jay); grandchildren, Amy Chrisley Adams (Eric), Amanda Chrisley Canupp (David), and Steven Chrisley (Stephanie); great-grandchildren Samantha and Katie Adams, Delaney and John Carter Canupp, and Lilith Chrisley; sisters Mary Wheeler (Bruce), Lamona Fullmer; and brothers Dick Nogues (Nancy) of Idaho and Martin Nogues of New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his parents Viola Ivie Nogues Stutzman and Peter Paul Nogues.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
The family requests donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 607 Airport Road, Huntsville, AL 35802.
