Tony A. Hester, age 68, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be today, May 7, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Brother Vern Cummings, Brother Keith Prince, and Brother Nick McSpadden officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Tony was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Margie Hester and father-in-law, James Lovett.
Tony is survived by his wife, Donna Hester; his son, Tony Hester Jr. (Stephanie); his daughter, Stephanie Hester Nunley (Clint); his brother, Donnie Hester (Cindy); his sister, Linda Hester Jones (Buddy); grandchildren, Adelyn Hester, Olivia Nunley, and Blake Nunley; and mother-in-law, Margaret Lovett.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Hester, Keith Kelton, John Quillen, Keith Steele, Kevin Palmer, and Chasey Johnston.
Akins Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
