Funeral for Clara Nell Speake, 76, of Jasper will be Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be in Speake Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Speake, who died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Princeton Medical, was born, May 8, 1940, to Alan Franks and Nellie Rhoden Franks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truitt Wayne Speake; her parents; son, Shane Allen Speake; two brothers, David Franks and Billy Ray Franks; four sisters, Willie Jean Franks, Barbara Jean Franks, Myrtie Reno and Biddie Barbara Ragsdale.
Survivors include one son, James Ray (Lisa Vernon) Anders; one daughter, Kathy Ann Anders (Bobbie) Key; stepson, Larry (Sonya) Speake; stepdaughter, Judy (James) Lake; two sisters, Mattie Sue Hooper and Sybil Sutton; nine grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Rylant, Steven Speake, Cody Glasgow, Aaron Key, Christian Key and David Key.
