Charles Lee Akers age 68 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Falkville Care Center. Mr. Akers was born August 8, 1948 in Morgan County, AL to Ethridge Akers and Virginia Cook Akers.
No services are planned. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.
Mr. Akers was a member of Nature’s Trial Church.
Preceded in death by his parents; twin granddaughters; sister, Charlotte Todd.
Survived by one daughter, Amanda Kay Freeman; one son, Jason Akers; two grandsons; two granddaughters; two sisters, Sharon Patrick and Sarah Trail; two nieces and two nephews.
