Florence – LuLu’s Clothing Company, located in historic downtown Florence recently held their Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony with members of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Florence Unlimited and other guests.
We spoke with owner Shelly Newman about her exciting new store and she told us; “We are a fun boutique without the boutique prices. Here at LuLu’s, we take pride in our superior customer service and enjoy the personal interactions with our customers the most. Shelly went on to say “My mother and I are the owners of LuLu’s so we are truly a family owned business. Our mission is helping customers of all ages and sizes find something they will wear year after year that is a great value and at a price they can afford. If a mother, daughter and granddaughter all came in, we would have something for each of them. Our goal is and has always been to make our valued customers feel comfortable by providing a casual, friendly, and fun shopping environment.”
Ms. Newman’s choice of opening her third store in historic downtown Florence was no accident. Ms. Newman stated, “I chose historic downtown Florence because of it’s family-friendly environment filled with art, music, shopping, dining and fellowship. A browser’s idea of heaven and a shopper’s paradise filled with other specialty shops, clothing boutiques, antique shops, unique restaurants.”
