Funeral services for Alma Imogene Gibson, age 84, are scheduled for 3 PM, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Joe M. Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Central Grove Cemetery. Ms. Gibson passed away on Sunday in Jackson. She was born March 20, 1933 in Henderson County to the late Oda and Frances Maness Wood. She was retired from Salant & Salant. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Gibson and one brother, Jimmy Wood. Survivors include her two sons, Ricky (Helen) Gibson and Randy Gibson; two daughters, Sarah Lathan (Laveral) and Rhonda Gibson; two brothers, Orbie Wood (Sherry) and Joe M. Wood (Brandy); four sisters, Ruth Nowell, Mary Maness (Jr.), Faye Woods, and Ella Cook; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
