Eddie Lee Daily Brust – Obituary

Eddie Lee Daily Brust, age 91, went to her heavenly home on April 27, 2017. She was a Florence native, attending Maud Lindsey Kindergarten, and graduating from Coffee High School. She became a Christian at age 12 and has been an active member at Highland Baptist Church for many years. Her special interests were teaching in the preschool area and participating in the W.M. U. mission endeavors.

She retired from the University of North Alabama. After retirement she served with her husband, Bill, as volunteers with Campers on Mission constructing church building and aiding in disaster relief.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Monday, May 01, 2017 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Florence City Cemetery.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John Wilson Daily and Minnie Lou Daily; brothers, Walter Daily and Wanner Daily (Wylene); sisters, Elta Crowder (John) and Estelle McCaleb (M.B.); brother-in-law, Clyde Aston.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William “Bill” Brust; children, Nonnie Brust, Debbie (Joe) Priester, and Bill (Debbie) Brust; grandchildren, Katie (Dave) Styblo, Joe (Christy) Priester and Davis Priester; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Max Priester and Patrick, Taylor and Will Styblo; sister, Ivadelle Aston and many nieces and nephews.

Great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
