William Eugene “Bill” Kidwell, Jr., age 70 of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, April 27, 2017. Visitation will be Sunday, 1-3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Troy Fisher and Phillip Potter officiating. Burial will be in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery.
Mr. Kidwell was a native of Sheffield and a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He was an Air Force veteran, a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Kidwell and Margaret Reid and
sister, Brenda Balentine.
He is survived by his wife of forty seven years, Ann Kidwell, daughters, Beverly Davis, Kim Davis (Ricky), Pam Schultz (Jurgen), sisters, Mary Ann Reid-Reece, Debbie Kimbrough, brothers, Steve Reid, Waymon Reid, Jerry Reid, grandchildren, LeeAnn Kimbrough, D. J. Oswalt, Amber Doty, Kala Owens, William Davis, Ashton Davis and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are William Davis, D. J. Oswalt, Ricky Davis, Jake Phillips, Jace Kimbrough and Andy Malone.
