Charles Wayne Taylor of Stantonville, TN was born March 5, 1949 in Bolivar, TN the son of Elsie Marie Smith and the late William Edward Taylor. He was united in marriage to Karan Lea Smith on May 24, 1969.
Mr. Taylor retired from PCA in Counce, TN after 35 years of service. He was a Pipefitter. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Adamsville and was a U. S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He was a Christian who loved his Lord, his family, and playing with his grandson. Golf was his favorite pastime along with UT Football. Mr. Taylor departed this life on April 26, 2017 at his home at the age of 68 Years, 1 Month, 21 Days.
He is survived by his wife Karan Lea Taylor of Stantonville, TN; a daughter, Alison Brook Vaughan and husband Kristian Hurley Vaughan of Adamsville, TN; a grandchild, Ethan Kristian Vaughan; his mother, Elsie Marie Smith of Adamsville; a brother, James Edward Taylor and wife Shelia of Stantonville, TN; a sister, Beverly Kay Chambers of Savannah, TN; a host of extended family and friends.
