Motorcycle Crash Takes Life Of Jasper Man

JASPER-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic fatality that occurred on Tuesday, April 25:

“A single-vehicle crash at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, has claimed the life of a Jasper man.

George Lewis Terry, 46, was seriously injured when the 2007 Honda motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Terry, who was not using a helmet, was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham where he died at 5:20 p.m.

The crash occurred on Lays Road, four miles northwest of Jasper.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
