Merle Dean Vernon Kelsoe – Obituary

Merle Dean Vernon Kelsoe, age 84, of Danville, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Elliott’s Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kelsoe was born Aug. 17, 1932, in Danville to Carlos Vernon and Cora White Vernon. She was a member of Lindsey Hall Holy Church of Christ and was retired from Prestolite as a supervisor. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Landon Burch Kelsoe; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Clifton “Buddy” Kelsoe; four sons, Wayne Kelsoe, Roger Kelsoe, David Kelsoe, and Tracy Kelsoe and his fiance, Pam Tanner; one sister, Doris Stewart; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
