Byron Lee Walker died in his home on April 22, 2017 in Kent, Ohio due to cardiac arrest. He was 66. Byron was born on March 24, 1951 in Guntersville, Alabama to his parents, Robert L. and Doris D. (nee Black) Walker. He married Lindsi Dianne Pilgrim in 1969. Bryon retired from Chrysler after 23 years of service. Byron was a talented singer, songwriter, and musician. He loved to play guitar and fiddle. Mr. Walker is survived by his beloved wife Dianne, his daughters Kimberly Shirah (wife to John), Faith Walker, his sons Matthew Walker, Mark Walker (husband to Monica), Joshua Walker, his grandchildren Daniel Shirah, Olivia Walker, Eli Walker, Jackson Walker-White, sister Joy Neeley, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bobby, Joe, David, and Richard Walker. Mr. Walker was buried in the Walker Family Cemetery in a private ceremony on April 26, 2017. A memorial took place on April 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville, Alabama.
