James Delano Cameron – Obituary

James Delano Cameron, 82, of Mt. Hope passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at NHC, Moulton.  Visitation will be from to 1 till 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rob Jackson officiating.  Burial will be in the Old Bethel Baptist Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughters, Renee Killen, Renice Campbell, and Melissa Burney (Billy); grandsons, Jamie Killen and Landon Campbell; granddaughters, Donialle Killen, Sarah Grace Burney, and Adeline Burney; sisters, Jeanette Beck and Joyce Christian (Norman); brother, Don Cameron (Joan); and his canine pal, Whitey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Bobo Cameron; father, James Samuel (Jimmy) Cameron; mother, Ruby McCain Cameron; and sisters, Opal Kerby, Audrey Beck, and Bobbie Masterson.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Special thanks are given to the staff of NHC in Moulton.  Each member of their staff went above and beyond what was expected to provide an outstanding level of care.  From the beginning to the last moments he was surrounded by people who loved him.  We appreciate their dedication more than we could express with words.
