HARTSELLE-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department released a statement concerning the arrest of one suspect in a Domestic Violence case:
“Morgan County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit investigators arrested Billy Phillips, of Hartselle, for Domestic Violence by Strangulation.
It is alleged that the initial argument started over biscuits which escalated throughout the day. This arrest came after a thorough investigation and an indictment by a Morgan County Grand Jury.
Phillips is being held in the Morgan County Jail awaiting bond.
