James Lee Hamilton- Obituary

James Lee Hamilton, age 69, Russellville, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Hamilton proudly served his nation in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was a kind, sweet, and caring man who never met a stranger.

The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russellville. The funeral will follow at 12:00 noon at Kingdom Hall. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens, with military honors.

Mr. Hamilton is preceded in death by his parents, Gene & Lucille (Winchester) Hamilton.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers, George Hamilton, Harold Hamilton, Bobby Hamilton; sisters, Arma Jean Hubbard, Kathleen Hamilton, Carlis Davis, Judy Davis; a host of nieces & nephews; and special God-daughter, Gwenievere Mae Alleva.

His nephews will assist the family as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thanks to his caregivers, Tebra Morgan, Jocelynn James, Shannon Childers, Mandy Smith, and Denise Hallman for their love and care to our family. Also a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice and to his special neighbor, Mrs. Lily Mae who helped to make his life comfortable.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
