M. R. (Steve) Stevens, 93, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mr. Stevens was a WWII veteran of the Pacific Theater. A long time technical writer for the U.S. Air Force, he later served as a writer and editor at Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Stevens; children, Mark Stevens, Annemarie Hall and Judy Winkler; and stepchildren, Carl Reavis, Robert Reavis, Constance Marion, Richard Reavis, and Christina Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 21 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
