Wanda Delle Menefee age 74 of Harvest, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Menefee was born August 30, 1942 in Limestone County to Louis Haney and Bessie Compton Haney.
Services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Baptist Church with George Whitten officiating. Then body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Menefee was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, and retired as an executive assistant from The Boeing Company/ McDonnell Douglas.
Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bessie Haney; her nephew, Will Haney.
Survived by her husband, Stanley Menefee; one son, Stan Menefee and wife, Shaviny; grandchildren, Madelyn Menefee and Molly Menefee; three brothers, Louis Haney, Jr. and wife, Linda, Merritt “Tink” Haney and wife, Sharon, Leon Haney and wife, Ann; two sisters, Jerre Burgreen and husband, Freddie, Faye Kent and husband, Gary; nieces and nephews, Monica Shaw, Heather Haney, Zac Burgreen, Adam Haney, Frederick Burgreen, Kimberly Gates and Clay Haney.
Pallbearers will be Zac Burgreen, Frederick Burgreen, Adam Haney, Clay Haney, Dustin Menefee and Butch Menefee. Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Haney, Jr., Merritt “Tink” Haney, Leon Haney and Jessie Hobbs.
