Vivian Olean Rieves – Obituary

Vivian Olean Rieves, 85, died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born January 23, 1932, to Curtis and Effie Prestage Dennis. She was an active member of the Beans Ferry Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Steve Shappley officiating. Burial will be in the Tilden Community Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Robert Samuel Rieves (Jennifer); one daughter, Wanda Faye Rieves Pierce of Fulton; and one sister, Geneta Clouse, all of Fulton; seven grandchildren, Melanie Robison, Tina Harden (Morris), Kevin Pierce (Hope), Hannah Carroll (Adam), Hayley Seago (TJ), Samantha Rieves, and Terri Turner (Al); thirteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Samuel Rieves, who died in 2005; one daughter, Julie Fishella; one son-in-law, John Pierce; one brother, Tommy Dennis; four sisters, Bertha Grammar, Reba Enlow, Nancy Christian, and Louise Wright; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Monday at the funeral home.
