Eleanor Maurine Gaught, 87, of Meridianville, passed away Friday. Mrs. Gaught was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Mattie Riddle; husband John Junior Gaught; son John David Gaught; great-grandson Kirk Edward Hughes; and daughter-in-law Cynthia Gaught.
Survivors include her son Dwight Sherman Gaught, I ; two daughters, Sandra Kay (Steve) Mann and Sherry Lee Gaught; six grandchildren: Vikki Sheree (Matthew) Boyett, Jennifer Darlene Borden, Clinton Allen Crabtree, Amanda (Mark) Hughes, Dwight Sherman Gaught, II, and Joshua David Gaught; five great-grandchildren: Mattie Grace Boyett, Nathan Bryant Boyett, Emily Lynn Crabtree, Archer Grayson Hughes, and Oliver Mason Hughes.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 with Rev. Larry Bishop, Rev. Wayne Kimbrough, and speaker Candace Rogers Hatfield officiating. Burial will be held at Flint River Cemetery.
