William T. “Tommy” Ham – Obituary

Funeral for William T. “Tommy” Ham, 79, of Athens will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Tony Andrews officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery

Mr. Ham, who passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his residence, was born July 12, 1937, in Limestone County to William Rufus Ham and Edith Pauline Hutto Ham. He was retired from Monsanto Company and a member of Limestone County Board of Education for 24 years. He was a member of Westview Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Ham and wife, Judy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Delayne Lovell Ham; son, Tim Ham and wife, Kim; daughter, Jenny Lynne Bowen and husband, David; son, Mark Ham and wife, Beth; daughter, Christy Meals and husband, Brennon; grandchildren, Joshua Ham and wife, Chelsey, Laci Beth Ham, Corey Ham and wife, Haley, John Mark Ham and wife, Amy, Ethan Meals, Seth Meals and Katie Meals; great-grandchildren, Harper Ham and Jennings Ham; brothers, Wayne Ham and wife, Ginny, Jimmy Ham and wife, Mary, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Ham, Corey Ham, John Mark Ham, Ethan Meals, Seth Meals, Laci Beth Ham, Katie Meals and David Ham.
