Leroy Venus (LV) King, 80, of Coalmont, TN, passed away on April 12, 2017 at his home following a short illness. He worked for New York Central Railroad, a Pipe Fitter for General Motors, and a Master Electrician, Plumber and HVAC Technician. Mr. King was a hard-working man who loved his family. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
He was born in Altamont, TN, on October 5, 1936, son of the late Frank and Mary Elizabeth King. His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his spouse, Opal King; his children; Daniel (Ann) King; David King both of Cleveland, OH; Roy (Melissa) King of Altamont, TN; Dyanne (Jerome) Kaczmarek of Portland, TN; Sherry Krickel of McMinnville, TN; and Step-Son, Jason King of Palmer, TN; Special Granddaughters; Makayla King; Chelsey King and Riley Barks of Coalmont, TN; eleven grandchildren; Lindsay Hoffman; Christopher Hoffman; Chase King; Dylan (Sammi) King; Charlie Krickel; Hannah King; Brendan King; Briley King; Corteney Krickel; Sydney King and Sean King; one great-granddaughter, Harlee Patrick. Brothers; Norman (Annie Mae) King of Beersheba Springs, TN; Hugh Gerald (Jackie) King of Colorado Springs, CO; Jerry King of Beersheba Springs, TN; Lynn (Dana) King of Rock Island, TN; sisters; Brenda (AC) Forsyth of Beersheba Springs, TN; Diane (Robin) Smart and Linda (Barry) Campbell, both of Altamont, TN; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by Donald King, son; Donald King, Jr, grandson; Euphemia Barks and Juanita Faye King, sisters; and Dwight King, brother.
