Clifford Leon Bouldin – Obituary

Mr. Clifford Leon Bouldin, 82, of Spencer, Tennessee passed away from this life, Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born September 16, 1934 in the Piney Communty of Van Buren County, Tennessee. He was the son of the Late Thomas Benjamin “TB” Bouldin and Notie Hutcheson Bouldin.

Mr. Bouldin was a retired self-employed Land Abstractor (Title Opionions) and a member of the Spencer Church of Christ. He also served as the Van Buren County Court Clerk for 8 Years. He loved to play and sing, Southern Gospel and Blue Grass Music.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Mary Genevieve Delong Bouldin; son, Lanny Bouldin; daughter, Alisa Farmer and her husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Kendra Kirby and husband Thomas, Ethan Farmer and wife Scarlett; great grandson, Oren Farmer; brother, Carl E. Bouldin and wife, Cleta also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday in the Layne funeral home chapel with Minister Gene Brock and R.C. Christian officiating with burial to follow in the Long Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Spencer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
