Funeral services for Elba “Lozean” Smith Denton, 88 of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Charles York officiating with interment in Cullman City Cemetery. Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Denton passed away April 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Travis Denton; son, Jimmy Denton; brothers Crawford (Vada) Smith, Buford (Beatrice) Smith, Arlin (Violet) Smith, Acie (Arie) Smith, Mayo Smith, Kile Smith; sister, Elvina Smith Via. Survivors include her son, Ricky (Cindy) Smith; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jones Denton; grandchildren, Marsha, Jimmy, John, Eric, Heather, Cody, Aaron, Alex; great-grandchildren; Johnathan, Matthew, Sidney, Trey, Luke, Hope, Kaylee, Camilla, Parker, Little Joe; brother, Dafford (Vikki) Smith; brother-in-law, Opal Via; sisters-in-law, Bertie and Hilda; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:30-8 at the funeral home.
