Beulah Mae Brown – Obituary

Mrs. Beulah Mae Brown, 91, passed away, Wednesday April 5, 2017, at the Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville due to complications of pneumonia. She was born in LaHunta, Colorado, on January 16, 1926, to Harvey W. and Honor Eda Nettie Dockum Nester who preceded her in death, along with her husband, James Edward “Cat Bird” Brown.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Irene Layman and Eda Mae (Johnny) Sanderson; son, Harvey Edward Brown; grandchildren, Scott Sanderson, Shadie Ray (Brenda) Rankhorn and Shelia (Robert) Orcutt; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was a teacher’s helper, PTA President, Adult Education Teacher, worked for Headstart, sold Avon, worked with 4-H and Girlscouts. She also taught sewing and crafts, loved flowers and taught others to love one another.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the People of the Living God Church in Tarlton Valley with Pastor Al King officiating with burial to follow in the Grace Chapel Cemetery in Beersheba Springs beside her husband.
